Rich served as a volunteer EMT with the Morristown Ambulance Squad for many years, rising to the rank of lieutenant. In addition, he was a licensed New Jersey Paramedic (NJ Paramedic #4138) and NJ EMT (#606548), bringing his expertise, calm presence, and dedication to every emergency he encountered. His commitment to helping others, often in life-or-death situations, demonstrated a courage and selflessness that inspired all who worked alongside him.
Beyond his professional achievements, Rich was admired for his kindness, patience, and unwavering willingness to support others.
